Reed Recruitment are recruiting for permanent, full-time window, door and glass fitters. Our client has been trading since the 1980's and is a reputable specialist in the field windows, doors, and glazed improvement products. Experience in window and door surveying is essential. You will be working within a small team where your hard-work and enthusiasm will make the difference. You will hold a high degree of accuracy of work with a low level of non-compliance ensuring paperwork is completed and allocated first time every time.

The successful applicant must use their experience to complete technical surveys on a wide variety of building projects and produce detailed schedules for processing by our client's internal sales team ready for manufacture within their state-of-the-art factories.

Experiences and/or knowledge of AUTO CAD and the construction industry in general are very desirable.

Responsible for

• The surveying of window and door contracts to a consistently high standard.

• Relaying information and assisting the internal sales team

• In full consultation with the client, architect or builder, accurately measure and record window and door installation details, ensuring that they are carried out to the correct standards, minimising material costs and labour.

• Ensuring the proposed installation will comply with building regulations and conform with good practice.

• Checking order information against survey details for accuracy.

• Assisting in the planning and coordinating of work schedules to the most appropriate team.

• Dealing with client telephone and email enquiries regarding surveys.

• Answering technical questions and queries relating to survey orders.

• Providing problem solving, technical assistance and training on site.
