A reputable wholesale insurance broker is seeking a skilled professional to enhance their placement function, focusing on the management of renewal business.
As a commercial account handler, you will be instrumental in collaborating with brokers nationwide, navigating complex risks with finesse and expertise. This position demands a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that clients' needs are not only met but exceeded.
Key responsibilities include:
- Strategically managing the renewal process for a portfolio of commercial accounts.
- Negotiating terms with insurers to secure the most favourable outcomes for clients.
- Analysing and interpreting complex risk information to make informed decisions.
- Providing bespoke solutions that align with clients' unique risk profiles.
Essential qualifications and experience:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial insurance broking.
- Proficiency in handling complex and challenging risks.
- A relevant professional qualification (e.g., CII) is highly desirable.
- Adept at using insurance broking and risk management software.
