Pertemps Dudley are currently seeking an experienced Wet Paint Sprayer on behalf of our client who is a succesful manufacturer in Dudley.  In this role, you will be applying coatings to steel products, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards and customer specifications. Overhead Crane experience for this role is essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as necessary
  • Operate and maintain paint spraying equipment
  • Loading beams onto crane to move to next department
  • Apply coatings to steel products using various spraying techniques
  • Inspect painted surfaces for defects, imperfections, and adherence to quality standards

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Wet Paint Sprayer in an industrial setting, preferably within steel manufacturing or a related field
  • Experience operating overhead crane is essential
  • Proficiency in operating paint spraying equipment and associated tools
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet production deadlines
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members

Hours of work:
Monday – Friday
8am-4.30pm

Pay rate:
£12-13ph
