We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant who is fluent in Welsh to join a vibrant educational setting in Ruthin. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting students and enhancing their learning experience. The successful candidate will be starting as soon as possible.


Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide support to individual students or small groups to help them understand the material and complete their tasks.
  • Work closely with teachers to monitor students’ progress and contribute to their academic and social development.
  • Encourage students to engage in the learning process and promote a positive learning environment.
  • Assist with the management of classroom resources and organisation.
  • Support the teacher in managing student behaviour and maintaining a constructive classroom atmosphere.
  • Participate in school meetings and training sessions.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Welsh is essential.
  • Experience in a teaching assistant role or similar educational support position.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and students.
  • A proactive approach to student learning and classroom support.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards working with children.
