Position: Welfare Assistant

About Us: We are dedicated to providing a nurturing and supportive environment where every child can thrive academically, emotionally, and socially. As part of our commitment to the well-being of our students, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Welfare Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first aid to students and staff as needed, ensuring prompt and appropriate medical care.
  • Contact emergency services and notify appropriate school personnel in severe situations, maintaining calm and efficient communication.
  • Liaise with parents regarding student health concerns, injuries, and medical needs, fostering positive relationships and open communication channels.
  • Assist with the administration of medications to students according to school policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, injuries, and medical treatments, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Requirements:

  • Valid First Aid certification is required.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred but not required.
