Engineering Production Operative - Welding

Salary: £24 - 27k (dependant on experience)

Location: Hainault, Essex

The Role:

My client is seeking a Production Operative to support in their established Production Department on a permanent basis. Successful candidates must have engineering assembly and exposure to welding experience.

They are looking for dedicated workers coupled with manufacturing and engineering experience.

The Production Operative:

General knowledge of an Engineering Environment

Perform a range of routine mechanical processes of small parts or components in accordance with company instructions and procedures

Metal working

Tig & Mig Welding Experience Essential

Running and Operating Welding Machines

Ability to use measuring equipment, gauges, verniers

Ensure quality is of the highest standard at all times

Ensure excellent housekeeping and adhere to health and safety procedures

Work towards the company's Continuous Improvement ethos

Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels

Previous assembly experience is essential

Ability to use own initiative and drive tasks to completion

Problem solving skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Hours 7:30am - 4.pm Monday - Friday, 1/2 hr lunch

Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 per year depending on experience
