Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The Welder will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and products through the use of welding techniques. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various welding equipment, possess a strong attention to detail, and demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding process.
  2. Select and set up welding equipment, including choosing the correct welding method, electrode, and shielding gas.
  3. Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions using various welding processes such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
  4. Inspect welds for accuracy and quality, making any necessary adjustments to meet project specifications.
  5. Operate and maintain welding tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  6. Collaborate with other team members, such as engineers and fabricators, to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.
  7. Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Welder or similar role in a manufacturing or construction environment.
  2. Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
  3. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
  4. Familiarity with welding equipment and tools, including welding machines, grinders, and cutting torches.
  5. Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality welds.
  6. Good physical stamina and dexterity to work in various positions and environments.
  7. Knowledge of safety procedures and practices related to welding operations.
