Client Summary:
Our client is a market leader and well established business within the rolling stock restoration and manufacturing sector.
Position Summary:
The role will require individuals to be fully trained / skilled in fabrication and welding. The candidate will be supporting business activities through the ongoing repair / maintenance and fabrications of components and products for the rail industry.
This role requires offsite work to weld and fabricate repairs for clients rolling stock assets.
This particular role will require weekend work and time spent away from home on a current project. (1 week at a time)
Essential Experience:
Previous positional welding experience - MIG / TIG / MMA
Be able to complete all prep work
Good fabrication knowledge
Be able to complete Test Bars (Codings)
Desirable Experience:
Previous coding experience
Large / industrial welding experience
Rolling stock experience
