Web e-Commerce Project Consultant.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced e-Commerce Project Consultant for a 6-month contract role. This position is pivotal in providing consultancy and thought leadership in the development of a new web and e-commerce platform, aimed at supporting strategic goals of our client. They are implementing a headless e-commerce solution, and seeking a person who is not only versed in traditional e-commerce platforms but are also innovatively oriented towards this approach.

Title: Web e-Commerce Project Consultant.
Location: Hybrid 3 days West of England 2 days remote.
Duration: 6 Months (Contract).
Rate: Negotiable on experience.

Key Accountabilities.
* Analyse client objectives to develop impactful web and digital strategies.
* Serve as a liaison between business requirements and technical solutions.
* Provide innovative solutions to complex business challenges.
* Develop and execute forward-thinking e-commerce strategies, encompassing CMS, content, channels, personalisation, and models.
* Design targeted content strategies for specific audiences.
* Implement personalisation methods to enhance user engagement.
* Advise on marketing technologies, website integrations, and best practices.
* Lead strategies for optimising online sales.
* Guide website customisation and system integration processes.
* Educate the internal team on the latest technological innovations.
* Work collaboratively with designers and developers for comprehensive solution implementation.
ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE.
* Expertise in online digital Omnichannel (social, email, etc. mobile app etc.) digital strategy, customer trends, content strategy, and personalisation.
* True Headless e-commerce platforms (which technology is Headless/can tell the difference between Headless and non-Headless)
* CMS, and digital marketing strategies (understanding of impact on teams as well as the strategy around what customer content to show).
* Familiar with the technical CMS space with experience of delivering the complexities of multiple language sites. What the best way to set up the sites and URL structure to maximise automation
* Experience in international markets, particularly within the EU. Website personalisation/localisation (language, colloquialism, cultural biases, currency).
* Technologically adept with project and third-party management experience.
* Knowledgeable in SEO, web analytics, and digital performance metrics.
* Skilled in integrating platforms with third-party systems, including social media.
* Future thinking and strategy thinking, mindset with an eye for innovation and new tech (e.g. AI assisted language translation).
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication and interpersonal skills with a confident manner able to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
