Web Developer (WordPress)

Fully remote (UK based, Manchester or Leeds area preferred)

I’m working with a remote focused, agile agency who are looking for a WordPress Developer to work alongside their PHP team. They’ve built custom websites for multiple high end clients and have more in the pipeline.

The role involves working on greenfield ground up WordPress projects using the latest in advanced custom themes. You’ll be part of a small but growing PHP team in an agency that now sits within a much larger organisation. There is plenty of scope to progress and develop with a clear path through to senior as the business grows.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Helping to deliver a range of greenfield projects from the ground up
  • Maintaining the highest coding standards and agile practices
  • Developing your skill set
  • Finding the best technical solutions to complex problems
  • Working across a variety of WordPress projects using custom themes and plugins

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience delivering full lifecycleWordPress projects
  • ACF, Custom Plugins
  • PHP experience
  • Any Frontend experience, they use Vue.js and jQuery
