Our client is a very successful small firm of Wealth Planners based in Woking who require an IFA, Wealth Planning Administrator.

Purpose of the role

To support the advisers in their day to day duties. Liaising with clients, keying client information to the back office systems. Preparing client documents, including suitability reports and information for client appointments, and ongoing review appointments. Ensuring all new business requests are processed within a timely manner. Must be efficient and remain calm when working under pressure.

  • General day-to-day office administration tasks such as taking telephone calls, greeting clients, sorting and sending post, document filing.
  • General support to financial planning team in servicing clients.
  • Preparing client meeting packs and relevant supporting documents in advance of client meetings.
  • Communicating with plan providers to obtain client information.
  • Maintaining client information accurately on the firm’s software Xplan.
  • Producing appropriate, clear and accurate written correspondence to a high standard, both to providers and clients via email and by post.
  • Dealing effectively with the submission of new business, including accurate completion and submission of application forms.
  • To achieve a good technical knowledge relevant to financial planning.
  • Using a range of software including Outlook, Word, Excel, Xplan, Powerpoint

The role on offer can be full time permanent or contract. 9-5 Monday to Friday. Bupa Health Scheme and pension.

The role is office based with flexible working.
