Job Title: Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer.
Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester.
Salary / Benefits £22k - £35k + Training + Benefits

We have an exciting opportunity for a Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer to join a leading Water Hygiene / Legionella company who have a strong presence in the North West region. You will be carrying out the full range of water hygiene services including legionella sampling, temperature monitoring, TMV servicing alongside carrying out remedial plumbing duties. Our client can offer the successful candidate a company vehicle, paid door to door travel, company bonuses and opportunity to progress and develop in their career.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Oldham, Stockport, Warrington, Macclesfield, Buxton, Crewe, Chester, Liverpool, St Helems, Wigan, Bolton, Rochdale, Blackburn, Bolton, Preston, Burnley, Huddersfield, Keighley, Bradford, Leeds, Wakefield.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Will hold the City and Guilds / NVQ L2 / L3 qualification.
" Hands on experience working within an established Water Hygiene / Legionella company, working as an engineer / plumber.
" Will have extensive knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Excellent communication skills.
" Able to manage time efficiently.

The Role:
" Carrying out legionella sampling and temperature monitoring in line with ACoP L8 / HSG 274 guidelines.
" Servicing of TMVs and failsafes.
" Closed system sampling and analysis.
" Expansion vessel reorientation.
" Hot and cold-water storage tank inspections.
" Showerhead cleans and descales.
" Carrying out flushing of little used outlets.
" Deadleg removals.
" Removal and re-routing of pipework (copper and PVC)
" Filling out onsite logbooks accurately upon completion of work.
