Water Hygiene Engineer (Remedial Works Engineer)

We are a well-established and respected independent water hygiene company. Due to an ever expanding loyal customer base, we are looking for an experienced and experienced Water Hygiene Technician to join our team.
The role will involve working on a variety of customer sites (Healthcare, commercial, industrial, retail, leisure and educational). A good depth of knowledge of buildings and water systems is critical. Good customer facing and communication skills are a must, along with strong self-organisation.
Key duties of the Water Hygiene Engineer:
- TMV inspections, servicing.
- Plumbing Remedials (Legionella Remedial Works, Dead leg removals etc).
- Water sampling for laboratory analysis.
- Cold water storage tank cleans and disinfections.
- Mains pipeline Chlorination and Disinfection
- Fault finding and reactive maintenance.
- LPHW sampling
- Showerhead descaling
- Cold Water Storage Inspections
Skills and Experience Needed:
- You must have a full UK driving licence.
- Previous experience in the Water Hygiene Industry.
- Experience in all the above duties will be beneficial.
- Good clear communication skills
- Self-motivated, using own initiative, desire to learn
- Evidence of previous competency assessments.
- Any industry relevant qualifications will be an advantage.
- You must be happy travelling and occasionally staying away.
- You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
