Wastewater Technical Specialist

Carbon 60 are delighted to present an opportunity for a Wastewater Technical Specialist to join our client based on site with the customer in Grangemouth, Scotland.

Working with private industry our client supply Wastewater Treatment services to businesses directly on site of their operations.

Due to to growth they are looking to add to the team.

The role:

Duties would include but are not limited to:

• Provide technical support to the operations team and review operational procedures.
• Identify areas for improvement and provide engineering and technical input.
• Liaise with the environmental team to ensure application of best practice within regulations.
• Provide technical training as required.
• Review operational performance and advise on changes during repairs or maintenance.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Degree in Chemistry, Biology or Process Engineering would be advantageous.
• At least 3 years previously in a similarly technical role.
• Knowledge of, biological, physical, and chemical water treatment technologies.
• Experience of working with customers and ability to make decisions under pressure.
