The team you’ll work with:

Reporting to the Treasurer, EMEA, UK Finance, you will support prudential and operational activities of HSBC Innovation Banking.  The role will provide the individual with the chance to expand their understanding of treasury operations and financial risk management in a fast growing and dynamic international bank.

The value you’ll add:

You will be building out HSBC Innovation Banking warrants product proposition and all aspects of internal management of the growing portfolio.

What you can expect to be doing: 

You will take full ownership of operational aspects of warrants, covering the entire lifecycle from original booking to ongoing maintenance of records, through to managing eventual sale/exit.

You will be expected to develop and drive policies to manage the book, considering how HSBC Innovation Banking would proactively manage the portfolio for risk mitigation and exit events (e.g. sales, IPO, recapitalisation exercises). 

Responsible for developing and enhancing the valuation methodology by which warrants are fair valued given illiquid nature of the assets.

Requirements

The experience you need:

You will have previous experience of working in Product and / or Treasury within banking.

Strong equities experience.

You will have professional qualifications such CFA, CertBalm, FRM, AMCT, Accounting or other relevant option desirable.

Where you’ll be based:  

Our home office in Finsbury Square, London. We offer hybrid working to all of our employees, so you can flex between home and the office.
