Warehouse and Stores Person

Annual Salary: £24,960

Location: Stanton, Suffolk

Job Type: Full-time

We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse and Stores Person to manage our goods in and out efficiently. This role is integral to our operations, requiring excellent communication skills and a highly organised approach to handle a busy warehouse environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Work closely with customer services and production teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and stock levels.
  • Ensure the warehouse is organised and that safety procedures are followed.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and manage returns or exchanges of goods when necessary.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies.
  • Assist in the implementation of new processes to improve efficiency in the warehouse.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a warehouse or stores environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage a busy warehouse.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with various departments.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good physical fitness, as the role may involve manual handling.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
