Warehouse Team Leader

We're looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to oversee daily operations, including managing goods inward, stock accuracy, and coordinating picking and packing to meet customer demands. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in warehousing, logistics, team leadership, knowledge of manual handling practices, computer-based stock management systems, and relevant certifications.

Description

• Leading and managing the warehouse team to meet set targets
• Implementing operational policies and procedures
• Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations
• Overseeing the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of goods
• Producing regular reports on warehouse performance
• Identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements
• Coordinating and maintaining vehicles, equipment, and machinery
• Managing inventory control and reconciliation

Profile

A successful Warehouse Team Leader should have:

• Proven experience in a similar leadership role within the industrial/manufacturing industry
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to operate computer-based stock management systems including "Windows" based software
