Warehouse Systems & Operations Controller | High volume FMCG | Ipswich

If you're like me, you find the logistical movement of huge volumes of goods strangely intriguing. There's something oddly satisfying about a complex supply chain with wildly varying intricacies & layers of complicated structure.

This system-focussed role will see you orchestrating a large site's inventory requirements, managing stock integrity, a lot of reporting, leading the 3PL relationship and supervising the pallet requests. (Spoiler alert - there's a lot of pallets….)

My clients supply chain comprises all corners of the planet, and in volumes you wouldn't believe! They have a purpose-built site near Ipswich which houses their products before they reach their customers.

This middle management level position (no immediate team to manage) commands an attractive salary, with a wide pay range available (plus annual reviews), 25 days holiday, annual Xmas bonus and the opportunity to join a growing business with low levels of staff turnover.

There is an element of shift work, but it's nothing scary. One week you're in early, 06:00 - 14:30, and the other week you're in 09:00 - 17:30. Manageable, right?

What will you need?

  • Background in warehouse/logistics/distribution, ideally specialising in stock management areas
  • WMS/ERP system usage - ideally* SAP
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Detail orientated mindset with a passion for data

The client is hoping for a quick turnaround here, so please get in touch for immediate consideration!
