Warehouse Supervisor
***WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR***
An immediate opportunity has arisen for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods, managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, and securing the warehouse. A flexi or counterbalance forklift licence would be an advantage but not essential as a refresher course will be provided.
Salary £30-35K depending on experience + benefits
Key responsibilities for the Warehouse Supervisor include,
- Ensure smooth running of stores operation
- Control the stores for raw materials and finished goods
- Issue/receive raw materials to/from production
- Generate delivery notes when orders are completed for dispatch
- Maintain accurate stock records
- Work within the company's processes and procedures for ISO9001
- Minimise environmental impact by reducing material waste and energy consumption
- Member of Health & Safety Steering Committee
- Responsible for the operation and safe use of fork truck equipment
- Ensure safe working practices and stop and report equipment if it becomes unsafe
The ideal Warehouse Supervisor will need the following,
- Previous experience in a similar Warehouse or Stores Manager role essential
- A Flexi or Counterbalance forklift useful but not essential
- Be computer literate
- Have good verbal/written communication skills
- Good IT skills required
- Be physically fit and able as the position requires being on your feet most of the day
