Warehouse Supervisor- Permanent up to £30k per annum

We are looking to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor/Manager into our busy premises in Blackburn for the next 4 months, then in Colne due to the business relocating. The successful candidate for this role would preferably have a full and current forklift truck licence.

You will solely be responsible for the smooth running of the warehouse ensuring company procedures are followed. You will also support the training of warehouse staff ensuring they are qualified & capable of carrying out their duties, while maintaining a high level of productivity in line with company KPI's.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor a small team of warehouse staff ensuring they perform their duties as laid out in the company handbook.
  • Ensure a high level of housekeeping, keeping the warehouse clean and tidy and free of obstacles.
  • Ensure warehouse stock is managed effectively with frequent stock checks.
  • Effectively implement H&S policy and procedures.
  • Manage all product arrivals from goods in to stock location.
  • Monitor pick areas to ensure stock is available to pick at all times.
  • To work in a team-based environment where everyone works together for the good of the business.
  • Get heavily involved with all levels of the day-to-day distribution processes.
