Warehouse Supervisor - West Thurrock

A1 Personnel are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor for a permanent contract on behalf of our client based in West Thurrock.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Load and unload heavy goods vehicles with groupage shipments.
• Stacking and storing the palletized freight in the appropriate areas
• Safety inspections of forklift trucks and, if necessary, report any issues found
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Raise any H&S issues, incidents or accidents
• Ensure compliance with H&S & PPE
• Leading and motivating team, reporting to the Warehouse Manager

Requirements:

• Relevant work experience gained in a Groupage Warehouse environment
• Experience in using MS Office and Outlook email.
• Proven supervisory experience with the staff.
• Maintaining Health and Safety standards in the workplace (an understanding of First Aid principles)
• Forklift driving experience

Hours: Monday to Friday : 6am-2pm
