Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading brands as a Warehouse Section Leader.

The primary objective of this role is to assist the direct leader in achieving the required service level at all times, while ensuring an efficient and co-operative working environment, optimum productivity, tightly controlled inventory, minimal costs, strong due diligence, and accurate accounts.

The Role – Key Responsibilities
  • Motivate employees, encourage excellent performance, and ensure high levels of staff retention
  • Lead, train, and develop employees within the warehouse team
  • Managing, coaching and developing a team to achieve outstanding results
  • Drive the team to meet and exceed all targets and ensure they are set clear targets to reach their potential
  • Effectively manage cost controls, to achieve stock inventory results and effectively manage stock rotation and date code control to minimise waste
  • Coach and develop colleagues to maximise pick rate and hold accountable to productivity targets
  • Effectively manage the goods inbound and outbound processes and compliance
Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a warehouse setting is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on motivating and developing team members
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Motivated by results, be excited by achieving high standards and excel in delivering excellent customer service
  • Possess a high attention to detail, understand company procedures and be naturally able to deliver clear instructions
