Warehouse Operator

My client, based in Elstree, is looking for a new Warehouse Operative to join their team.

• You must have 5 years continuous work experience for the last 5 years (you may have a gap of up to 30 days but would need to provide a character reference, if the gap is for longer than 30 days, you must have evidence for proof of income)
• You must have either a reach truck or counterbalance licence.
• You must also be a driver with your own means of transport due to the location of the role.

Hours: Monday – Friday 9am - 5pm

Salary: £24,000-£25,000 + £149 per week for the 1 week in 7 you're on call. 

The location: Borehamwood 

The Job:

• Working in the Warehouse
• Receiving goods and complete documents
• Place incoming stock items
• Record the location of items on software.
• Maintain correct order of Raw Materials according to GMP.
• Pick & assemble orders.
• Carry out stock counts.
• Operation of counterbalance forklift trucks, reach trucks and other equipment.
• Communication with colleagues
• Maintaining GMP and H&S standards
• Monitor and handle hazardous materials safely.

The Person:

• Proven experience working within a Warehouse environment.
• Must be physically fit due to the nature of the role, heavy lifting etc.
• Ideally have experience in GMP/GDP
• You must have either a reach truck or counterbalance licence.
