Due to exceptional growth T&K Associates are currently recruiting on behalf of our Client in Swadlincote for a Warehouse Operative to join their expanding team on a Fixed Term basis.

This position will be working directly for the Client on a fixed term basis for 9 months however there is a possibility that the role could go on longer.

Warehouse Operative Job Details & Benefits;

  • £29,450.76 per annum including shift allowance (Pro rata)
  • 40 hour working week (Paid breaks) - Rotational shifts Days & Afternoons
  • Day shift - Monday to Friday 6am-2pm / Afternoons - Monday to Thursday 1.45pm-9.45pm & Friday 12.45pm-8.45pm
  • Overtime 1.5 paid after 40 hours & double time paid for Sunday working
  • 25 days holiday per year + bank holidays (Pro rata)

Warehouse Operative Job Details;

  • Moving products via a Counterbalance FLT
  • Prepare orders following work instructions
  • Get products for order in stock
  • Follow instructions on orders to match Customer requirements
  • Repack products when required
  • Sampling of finish products when required
  • Print packaging lists and certificates of analysis for UK orders
  • Produce shipping documents
  • Load vehicles
  • Maintain stock records
  • Adhere to Health & Safety rule on site
  • All other associated tasks as required

Warehouse Operative Person Specification;

  • Must have an in-date Counterbalance licence
  • A reach licence is desirable but not essential
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a warehouse environment
  • Familiar with basic warehousing and shipping/receiving procedures
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills and able to operate inventory management systems (e.g. SAP)
  • Excellent team player
  • Ability to complete paperwork
