Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge as a Warehouse Operative? If so, we have full time positions available for an immediate start in Northampton, NN4 9EX working on behalf of a well-known British Supermarket! You will be working in a Freezer environment at around -25 degrees.

Pay rate as a Warehouse Operative:

Pre Parity for first 3 months:
AM shift: £13.25p/h | PM Shift: £14.00p/h

Pre Parity after 3 months:

  • AM shift: £14.00 per hour (6am-6pm) Overtime £20.48 per hour
  • PM Shift: £15.83 per hour (6pm-6am) Overtime £22.31 per hour
  • Night Shift £16.30 per hour (9pm-6am or 10pm-6am). Overtime £22.78 per hour
  • Overtime is paid when you have completed your weekly hours.
  • Bonus will be paid out to those who achieve 100% performance, this ranges between £10-£30)
  • Weekly pay - every Friday
  • 70-minute break (60 minutes paid, an extra 10 minutes unpaid for flex hour)
  • Only 32hours per week will be offered!

Typical hours as a Warehouse Operative:

  • 6am-2pm (Rota with any 5 out of 7 days including Saturday & Sunday)
  • 2pm-10pm (Rota with any 5 out of 7 days including Saturday & Sunday)
  • 9pm-6am (Rota with any 5 out of 7 days including Saturday & Sunday)
  • 10pm-6am (Rota with any 5 out of 7 days including Saturday & Sunday)
  • Rota: Given 1 year in advance

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Voice picking using LLOP (full training provided)
  • Ensuring the picking is completed to the required standard
  • Accountability for the timely and accurate distribution
  • Contributing towards their culture of trust, respect and togetherness

Experience, skills, attributes and the person:

  • Friendly and helpful, keen to contribute and add value to the site
  • Motivated and committed
  • Driven with high personal standards
  • Ability to meet targets within set timescales
  • The ability to understand and follow both verbal and written information
  • Naturally curious, willing to learn and develop
  • Previous Freezer warehouse experience is desirable
  • Our ideal candidate as a Frozen Warehouse Operative will be target driven, flexible to work weekends and bank holidays.
  • You will be campus colleagues between Sainsburys Pineham Frozen and Sainsburys DC.
