The Role- Warehouse Operative

Days:Monday to Friday

Salary: £24k

Permanent- Full Time

1 hour lunch- 2x 15 minute breaks

20 days Holidays plus bank holidays

Hours: 8:15- 16:45

Address: Liverpool

Job Purpose: To assist in the smooth running of the warehouse, in both goods inwards and dispatch

Duties and Responsibilities

• Offloading of containers - by hand / FLT
• Stock inspection / completion of product check lists / stock put away
• Assisting in monthly stock checks
• Picking and packing of daily orders
• Generating carrier labels / manifests
• Loading vehicles
• Inspecting and processing returned safes.
• Occasional requirement to drive 7.5T vehicle to exhibitions and assist with the setup show stands.
• Any other Warehouse / maintenance (inc. keeping areas clean & tidy) duties that may be requested from the line Manager.

Requirements

• FLT License
• Current REACH license (desirable)
• Full driving license (preferably with ability to drive 7.5T vehicle)
• Computer skills - Microsoft packages - Outlook, Excel, Word.
• Experience of Microsoft 365 and Business Central would be beneficial, but not essential.
• Manual handling certificate (desirable)
• Order fulfilment accuracy & efficiency.
