Warehouse Operative

Adecco are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Runcorn for a Warehouse Operative to join a really friendly and supportive team on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a large, successful, International company within the Retail industry.

The successful candidate will report into the Warehouse Team Leader requiring them to receive, check, book in and locate inbound goods. You will be expected to work in a fast paced environment picking and packing stock.

Salary: £11.70ph

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00-16:30. Early finish on Fridays!!

Location: Runcorn

Key Requirements

• Experience working within a dispatch warehouse role previously
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to use computerised dispatch systems
• Ability to work well within a team
• Proactive and hardworking
• FLT licence Reach / Counterbalance (ideal not essential)

Your Responsibilities:

• Labelling products
• Moving goods to the correct storage space by forklift or hand pump trolley
• Picking and packing orders
• Reworking stock and checking stock quality
• Organising transfers and loading goods on to delivery vehicles
• Work with the warehouse team to assist with goods in/out
• Receive components, materials, services and customer returns
• Undertake regular stock checks
• Expedite deliveries
• Pack goods
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping
