Warehouse Operative

Our client requires Warehouse operative to join a well-established company founded in 1984, with a solid reputation in Marine, Industrial and Commercial Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, their office is based in Hampshire. They have an established client-based customer locally within Hampshire and marine customers in the UK and overseas.

As the warehouse operative you will be supporting the everyday running of the Spares Department as directed by the Spares Manager.

Some the main duties include;

• Receive deliveries and quality check, label goods in.
• Process and allocate orders on Sage and maintain stock records.
• Quality check, prepare and package complete orders ready for shipping.
• Palletise goods, including banding, wrapping and labelling.
• Hazardous goods packaging and labelling.
• Additional consignment preparation and paperwork for overseas shipping.
• Deliver goods in Company vehicle to customers, mainly local and within Hampshire, however occasionally further afield.
• Quayside delivery of goods, toolboxes, tools and equipment to specific time schedules and policies.
• Process paperwork such as; stock control, inventory, process returns.

• Minimum of 2-3 years warehouse experience.
• Full clean UK driving licence, held for minimum of 2 years due to fleet insurance requirements.
• Age 25+ due to fleet insurance requirements.
• Reachtruck / Forklift Licence or previous experience/certification.
• Asset Management experience would be an advantage.
• Competent computer skills, minimum word, excel, outlook, Office 365.

• Salary circa £27,00 DOE
• auto-enrolment NEST Pensions, 3% employer + 5% employee
• 28 days plus Bank Holidays
• Free Parking
• Company Reward Scheme (subject to meeting criteria and six months service)
• 8am-5pm Monday to Thursday
• 8am-4pm Friday
• Occasional overtime - paid at additional rates
