Warehouse Operative - Nights
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to a work nights for a Leighton Buzzard based company. Our client are one of the market leaders in their field, and they now recruiting due to company expansion. Please note, an FLT counterbalance is required.
For this role, you would be required to work 20:00PM to 04:30am, Monday to Friday.
Duties:
- To receive inbound stock, ensuring the temperature is compliant at all times.
- Manage goods in , picking, labelling, packing and despatch paperwork,
- Assemble packaging and labelling activities to include: controlling, verifying, printing, issuing and recording labels for production.
- Ensure the maintenance of appropriate quantities of stock levels within the packaging area, undertaking stock counts and processing returns.
Key responsibilities:
- Unloading of client product from collection vehicles.
- Ensure all consignments are received in and placed into required temperatures.
- Receive in-bound consignments and allocate in warehouse.
- Pallet size consignments and loading of trunking vehicles.
- Goods in, picking, labelling, packing and despatch.
- Processing returns including quarantined, damaged or batch recalls.
- Follow standard operating procedures in the pick and pack operation.
Key Skills/Experience/Requirements:
- Previous experience of working within a warehouse environment is essential.
- Fork Lift experience is required, with a valid Counterbalance certificate.
- Good reading skills and numerate.
- Computer literate.
- Good team player
- Good organisation skills with the ability to prioritise.
- Strong eye for detail.

- 28 days’ holiday (including bank holidays), building to 33 days (including bank holidays) in the sixth full holiday year
