Warehouse Operative required to join a growing building materials specialist in Barking. The company are continuously growing and require an experience Operative to join their Warehouse team.

Warehouse Operative Position Overview

  • Load company vans in organised and efficient manner to ensure no stock damage and to minimise delivery time.
  • Assist in preparing orders for delivery including picking, checking and packing
  • Assist in all aspects of production within the warehouse as delegated by the management team
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and clean working environment
  • Adhere to all site Health & Safety requirements
  • Ensure correct manual handling techniques are used at all times
  • Able to plan and prioritise effectively to meet deadlines

Warehouse Operative Position Requirements

  • Commutable distance to Barking
  • Experience working in a similar position (ideally builders' merchant / materials specialist)
  • Good organisation skills
  • Strong communicator

Warehouse Operative Position Remuneration

  • Starting salary £25,000 - £29,000 (dependant on experience)
  • 25 days holiday
  • Joining a young and growing company
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 6pm
