Our client is one of the largest distribution companies in the UK and a leader in their specific market. Due to internal promotion they are currently looking to recruit a Warehouse General Manager for their site based in near Chessington, London.

As a Warehouse General Manager, you will be responsible for their site, proving strategic leadership, ensuring legal compliance and developing a team that is able to deal with the challenges that Warehouse Management provides.

On a day to day basis you will:

  • Provide strategic leadership for the site that ensures the all departments operate to their most efficient levels.
  • Ensure Health and Safety procedures are met.
  • Build proactive relationships with customers and constantly strive for improvements.
  • Support your team to ensure prompt accurate delivery of products to their clients through this large multi drop operation.
  • Manage the site budget.
  • Provide management leadership, PDP structures and strong motivation

Successful candidates should have previously worked within a Warehouse Leadership role dealing with Food, FMCG or Pharmaceutical products. You should also be able to lead a team of over 300 staff and have previously worked within complex supply chains. Successful candidates will have a proven pedigree of being solution focused, adaptable and able to lead this large operation.

In return successful candidates will receive a strong basis renumeration, car allowance, bonus up to 30% of basic, 25 Days holiday (plus BH) healthcare and contributory pension.
