Forklift Driver and Warehouse Operative

We are looking for an experienced forklift and warehouse person for a temp to perm assignment in the Helston area of Corwnall.  The client is an agricultural product supplier.

You will be required to work Monday to Friday 0830 -1700 with a Saturday to be worked on a rotational basis.

The pay rate for this role will be £11.44 per hour.

You will need to hold a valid counterbalance forklift license and your role will include (but is not limited to) the following:
Duties:

• Operating a forklift truck whilst adhering to requisite Health and Safety standards
• Picking orders, recording and checking stock, collating paperwork, yard picking
• Loading customers’ orders directly into their vehicles and preparing order to be delivered directly to farms
• Dealing with customers face to face in a professional manner
• Placing all incoming goods in an organised and efficient manner, and identifying stock anomalies and taking appropriate action
• Storing chemicals and hazardous goods in the warehouse in the correct manner
• Participating in any duties in the interests of Health & Safety, including COSHH compliance, Spillage clean-up, and safe manual handling
