We are currently recruiting for a Care Leavers Support Worker for an organisation based in Coventry.

Our client is an accommodation and support service provider specialising in supporting young people leaving care, young people who have been exposed to homelessness and unaccompanied children seeking asylum. The role will involve supporting these individuals in their own accommodation within the community or in a shared living setting environment.

Duties will include:

  • Ensuring the safety of the young people and being a positive role model
  • Supporting individuals to stay in line with any curfews
  • Following support plans and risk assessments
  • Challenging negative and disruptive behaviours and providing positive solutions
  • Supporting with general housekeeping and domestic duties
  • Ensuring there are no unauthorised visitors within the properties

This position will involve working 4 shifts on and 4 shifts off from 22:00 until 08:00. It is essential to have a full driving licence with access to your own vehicle and business insurance for this position - mileage is paid in addition to the hourly rate.
