Vehicle Technician

Basildon

Salary £25,000 - £45,000 per annum.

Vehicle Technician required to join a growing dealership in Basildon. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a growing company with a great reputation.

Salary is dependent on experience, entry level starts from £25,000 per annum. However if you come to us with experience, then salaries go up to around £45,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate will be a technician currently, you will be practically minded and committed to developing your skillset.

You will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles.

Key Duties

  • Perform maintenance and repair on customer vehicles.
  • Identify problems with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment.
  • Explain automotive repairs and issues and provide great customer service.
  • Participation with in-house and manufacturer based training.

Requirements:

  • NVQ/City & Guilds certifications required (Equivalent certifications can be accepted to a level 3 standard).
  • Hold a valid UK manual driving license with no more than 3 points
  • Ability to provide a friendly customer service and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Flexible and willing to learn and adapt to new responsibilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to use the diagnostic equipment

Hours, Pay & Benefits

  • £28,00.00 - £45,000.00
  • 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays
  • An excellent package of in-house and off-site training
  • Solid Pension scheme
  • Monday to Friday 8.00 am - 18.00 pm, alternate Saturdays 8.00 am - 13.00 pm.
  • Free onsite parking.
