As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of police vehicles. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying and diagnosing mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring that all vehicles are safe and roadworthy.
In return, the Vehicle Technician can expect a salary upwards of £41,916 with an OTE of £45k + and highly competitive pension contribution and additional benefits listed below.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, including cars, vans, motorcycles, and specialised police vehicles.
- Perform scheduled servicing and maintenance tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the fleet.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical issues using advanced diagnostic equipment.
- Carry out repairs on engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, and other vehicle components.
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
- Experienced Vehicle Technician
- Strong experience using diagnostic machines to identify and repair mechanical issues
- Confidently achieve the required level of Security Clearance
- Valid UK Driving Licence.
