Vehicle Technician
Overview
Our client is one of the UK's leading automotive dealership and specialises in supplying a wide range of showroom condition car across all makes and models and are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technicians up to Master tech status. We are looking for a minium of a Level 3 Qualified Vehicle Technician qualification with approximately 5 years of experience to join our client. You will play a crucial role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting diagnostic tests and identifying vehicle faults using state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment.
- Performing complex repairs and maintenance tasks on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Carrying out routine servicing and inspections in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Providing accurate estimates for repair work and communicating effectively with customers regarding recommended services.
- Adhering to health and safety protocols and ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
- Keeping abreast of industry developments and attending training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Mentoring and providing guidance to junior technicians as needed.
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Vehicle Technician in a reputable automotive repair facility.
- Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and software.
- Extensive knowledge of vehicle systems and components, including modern vehicle technologies.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Effective communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Hours
- 8:30am/5:30pm - Monday/Friday
- 8:30am/12:30pm - Alternate Saturdays
