Location: Langley Moor, Durham, United Kingdom
Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm; Sat, 8:30 am - 12:00 pm
Salary Range: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Role Overview:
We are looking for a Vehicle Technician responsible for conducting MOT tests and servicing vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a dedication to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct MOT tests following DVSA guidelines
  • Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
  • Inspect vehicles for safety hazards and maintenance requirements
  • Use diagnostic equipment accurately
  • Complete paperwork efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Provide excellent customer service

Requirements:

  • Valid MOT Tester license (Class 4 and/or 7)
  • Experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work Saturdays and overtime
  • Valid UK driving license
  • Relevant technical qualifications
  • Own tools preferred
