Position: Vehicle Mechanic

Salary up to £30,000 - £34,000 + Bonus

Location – Peterborough, Cambridgeshire

Monday-Friday (Alternating Saturday)

Interaction Recruitment have teamed up with a well-known dealership. Due to an expansion my client is looking to take on a skilled mechanic to join the team with immediately. If you are looking to further your career with a highly established company

The role:

  • Repair, test vehicles and diagnose faults
  • Replace components, parts, lubricants and consumables and record usage
  • Conduct electronic visual health checks (EVHC) on all vehicles and provide a comprehensive report
  • Tutor and provide guidance to apprentice technicians, where applicable
  • Ensure vehicle servicing activities are completed in a safe and high-quality manner
  • Carry out work completely and effectively within manufacturers’ servicing and repair times
  • MOT Testing

The Candidate:

  • NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent qualifications or time served technicians/mechanics 
  • Full Clean Driving License
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • The ability to keep a clean and tidy workspace
