Vehicle Fitter

Job Role

Due to continued growth our client based near Oakham have an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated, dedicated individual to join their vehicle assembly team.

Responsibilities

  • Fitting vehicles & equipment including mechanical/electrical assembly of chassis components.
  • installation of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • To assemble equipment working from engineering drawings
  • Adhere to safe working practices.
  • To be able to work as a team or as an individual to reach required goals.

Requirements

  • Experience with the use of hand and air tools
  • Understanding of engineering drawings
  • Good Communication skills
  • Accurate attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Diesel Engines advantageous

Hours of Work and Pay

       -    Monday to Friday - 8am to 4.30pm

       -    Up to £13/hr DOE
