What will you be doing as a Vehicle Damage Assessor:
Working in the office, you will be carrying out estimating work for the damage via digital images. Duties will include:
· Assessing, negotiating and authorising vehicle damage repair estimates using image and estimating systems
· Assessing and negotiating vehicle total loss settlements
· Monitoring performance of approved repairers, recognising potential areas of improvement
· Building relationships with approved repairers
· Providing technical support to the claims handling teams
· Managing customer expectations and potential problems, preventing escalation into complaints

We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
· Recent experience in a similar role such as Automotive Engineer Assessor, Independent Assessor or as a body shop Vehicle Damage Assessor
· Knowledge and understanding of accident repair methods, vehicle valuations and accident damage estimating
· ATA VDA Accreditation/IMI, IAEA, AQP qualifications or working towards will be advantageous
· Strong customer care skills with active listening skills
· General IT skills with Word Excel and Outlook
