Van Drivers

We are recruiting van drivers with at least 1 years commercial van driving experience to work for our customers in South and West Leeds. Whilst the roles may vary, our customers may be delivering items such as tool hire equipment, air conditioning parts, vehicle parts, stationery and much more. The number of drops in a day will vary from around 5 to 25 depending on the customer. Some lifting will be required so you would need to be physically fit to apply for the role. We’re looking for drivers who can demonstrate reliability in their work history and who understand the importance of providing a high level of customer service during their working day.

Benefits:

Basic rate £10.50 per hour - Overtime £12.60 (after 8 hours) PAYE Accrued - until 31 March 2023

Basic rate £11.77 per hour - Overtime £14.12 (after 8 hours) PAYE Advanced - until 31 March 2024

Basic rate £11.50 per hour - Overtime £13.80 (after 8 hours) PAYE Accrued - from 01 April 2024

Basic rate £12.89 per hour - Overtime £15.47 9after 8 hours) PAYE Advanced - from 01 April 2024

Most roles are paid minimum 8 hour shifts with overtime opportunities available.

Requirements:

• Monday - Friday with start times between 06:00 and 08:00
• Category B driving licence with at least a years commercial van driving experience
• Use of PDA’s (training will be provided)
• Ability to secure loads using ratchet straps
• Lifting involved up to 25kg so you must be physically fit.
• Over 21 years old - For Insurance purposes.
• No more than 6 points on your licence and for minor offences only.
• Well presented, good communication skills and with the ability to work well in a team.
