US/UK Tax Assistant Manager

A US Tax Practice located in Central London is recruiting a US/UKTax Assistant Manager

This is an exciting time for the US Tax team as they continue to grow year on year and this Tax Assistant Manager job has plenty of progression opportunities available to Manager and beyond. You'll be working with a broad range of clients (not pigeon holed to any sector), and you will also get involved in often high level & complex advisory work, interesting projects and supporting with business development and marketing initiatives.

As a Tax Assistant Manager you will be responsible for:

• Managing the day to day running of your portfolio
• Preparing US and UK tax returns to review
• Reviewing work completed by the offshore team/junior staff and making any required changes
• Supporting in the development of more junior members of the Tax team (training, L&D, developing your own people leadership skills)
• Supporting Managers/Directors on projects and complex technical work
• Advisory work and assessing if any further services can be offered to your clients
• Communication with relevant Tax authorities and other stakeholders

Our client is seeking an individual who is recently qualified in ATT/CTA/CPA and Enrolled Agent. You may be an experienced Senior looking to step up into an Assistant Manager role, or an experienced Assistant Manager wanting a broader client base to work on and advise.
