Upholsterer working hours: 6am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday

My client is a furniture & upholstery supply, manufacturing and furniture installation company located in Warrington, Cheshire.

They offer a broad range of furniture options to both the retail and hospitality industries. They are committed to delivering bespoke and off-the-shelf furniture & upholstery products with exceptional quality.

They are a Fixed Seating Specialist, capable of providing a touch of elegance to any venue across the UK.

Bespoke Upholsterer Job Description:

My client is looking for a highly skilled full-time Upholsterer with the ability to work remotely in some instances. The Upholsterer will be responsible for designing, modifying and repairing furniture, working with fabrics, tapestry, and leather. The Upholsterer will work collaboratively with the Upholstery and Joinery team on projects, delivering customised and innovative designs.

The role is based in Warrington, Cheshire with flexibility for partial remote work.

Bespoke Upholsterer Qualifications:

  • Upholstery skills and experience in working with fabrics, tapestry, and leather.
  • Experience with Seating design and manufacture
  • Furniture Design knowledge and expertise in various techniques of creating furniture.
  • Competency with sewing skills and the use of a variety of tools
  • An exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work with complex designs.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work on own initiative or within a team.
  • Able to manage time and priorities effectively.
