Upholsterer for Soft Play Company Based near Bury St Edmunds

Open to Part or Full Time 

£23,000 - £24,5000 FTE 

We are looking for a skilled and experienced upholsterer to join our team of soft play specialists. You will be responsible for creating, repairing, and maintaining high-quality soft play equipment and furniture for our clients in the leisure and entertainment industry.



As an upholsterer for our company, you will need to have:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in upholstery.

• A good knowledge of fabrics, foams, vinyl’s and other materials used in soft play products.

• A high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• The ability to read and follow technical drawings and specifications.

• The ability to use various tools and equipment, such as sewing machines, staple guns, scissors, knives, etc.

• The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• A positive and flexible attitude

• A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Measuring and cutting materials according to the required dimensions and shapes

• Working with fabrics, foams, vinyl’s and other materials used in soft play products.

• Sewing, stapling, gluing, and attaching materials to create soft play items, such as cushions, mats, tunnels, slides, etc.

• Fitting and installing soft play equipment and furniture on site

• Inspecting and testing the quality and safety of the products

• Repairing and refurbishing damaged or worn-out soft play items

• Cleaning and maintaining the tools and equipment.

• Keeping the work area tidy and organized

• Following the health and safety regulations and procedures
