We are urgently seeking a temporary member of staff, for an immediate start, to fill an administrative role in a University.

This is an ongoing opportunity.

As the Programme Administrator, you will ideally have experience of working in Higher Education, with a particular focus on programme administration. Ideally postgraduate research programme administration.

Recruitment and Admissions

Manage enquiries from Post Graduate Research (PGR) & Associate prospective students and applicants, providing advice and information.

Oversee, administer and/or coordinate as appropriate all School-based and College based PGR recruitment events, activities and procedures via MySIS, School database and associated records.

Post Graduate Research Administration and Support:

Responsible for maintaining accurate records on MySIS and the School database and ensuring all statutory compliance and external reporting obligations are met (e.g. HESA returns, UKVI Tier 4 compliance, EPSRC reporting, Postgraduate Research Experience Survey)

Other Duties:

Attend College training and meetings on all matters related to PGR student administration.

Respond politely and helpfully to any undergraduate/ postgraduate taught student or visitor to the School and assist the person until the query is directly handed over to the appropriate person.

The Head of School/ School Manager will delegate any projects, including the management and delivery of any projects, as required.

Be willing to undertake training and development as agreed with the School Manager, Director of Research or other senior member of the school.
