Maths and Science Tutor

Reed Tutors, a leading educational services provider, is looking for a passionate Maths and Science Tutor to join our team. This role involves providing in-person tuition to students in the Slough area, helping them reach their full potential in these critical subjects.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Conduct personalised one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in Maths and Science.
  • Develop customised lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to individual student needs.
  • Create a positive, encouraging, and supportive learning environment to foster student engagement.
  • Regularly assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to suit various learning styles.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the A Level curriculum to ensure high-quality instruction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Demonstrable experience as a Maths and Science Tutor.
  • In-depth knowledge of the UK Maths and Science curriculum, particularly at A Level.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students and parents.
  • Patience, motivation, and the ability to inspire students to achieve academic success.
  • Flexibility to work in-person in the Slough area and adapt to students’ schedules.
