SEN Tutor
  • Hourly Rate: £25+
  • Location: Greater Manchester
  • Contract: Rest of the academic year
  • Job Type: Full-time/Part-time

We are inviting applications for the position of SEN Tutor in Greater Manchester. This role is suited for tutors with a background in specialist education, adept at delivering a curriculum tailored to learners with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), behavioural concerns, and complex learning needs. The role is available on a full-time or part-time basis for the duration of the academic year.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide individualised instruction to students with special educational needs.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of educational professionals to support student success.
  • Regularly assess and report on student progress, adapting teaching methods as needed.
  • Motivate and engage students to help them achieve their full potential.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in teaching students with additional needs.
  • A strong dedication to safeguarding and child welfare.
  • A UK recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, or equivalent.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service or readiness to procure one.
