Pay from £30 per hour

Reed Further Education are working with a specialist further education college to recruit an experienced work-based tutor in Arboriculture to join their team.

Predominantly, the role of a Tutor is to provide inspirational teaching and learning. Tutors will additionally support excellence in assessment to ensure learners reach the highest standards with positive value added results.

Responsibilities;

  • Manage learners to succeed so they achieve their full potential and provide positive value added results.
  • To deliver high quality and effective teaching, learning and assessment.
  • Quality assurance of all aspects of teaching, learning and assessment.
  • Provide information, advice and guidance to learners and prospective learners.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Arboriculture
  • Level 2 English and Maths, or equivalent
  • Teaching/Training experience
  • Vocational/industry experience
  • Commitment to and understanding of safeguarding within education
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to obtain one.
