Pertemps Dudley are excited to be working with a leading steel manufacturing company in Dudley, who are seeking a skilled and experienced Turret Setter to join their team. Our client are entering a very busy period and are looking for Turret Setters due to growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and prepare turret punch press machines for production runs.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine machine settings.
  • Adjust machine settings such as speed, depth, and alignment to ensure accurate and efficient operation.
  • Load and unload materials onto the machine, ensuring proper positioning and alignment.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Turret Setter or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in setting up and operating turret punch press machines.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Hours of work:
Monday-Thursday 2pm-10.30pm
Friday 2pm-7.30pm

Rate of pay:
£13.09 per hour
