Senior Trust & Estates Associate

Norwich (Hybrid)

Up to £43,000 plus Private Dental & Medical Insurance

Our client, a long standing Accountancy practice offering consultancy services across the UK is proud to be extending their offering by recruiting a Senior Trust & Estates Associate for their Norwich operation.

Reporting to the Trust & Estates Manager, you will be responsible for reviewing and supporting tax compliance work of associates and assistants. Ideally you will be or working towards CTA or ACCA qualified and have experience managing a portfolio of clients and basic personal tax advisory work.

As Senior Trust & Estates Associate you'll have responsibilities, such as:

  • Preparation of complex trust accounts and trust and individual tax returns for manager review, working to client and internal deadlines
  • Produce pieces of technical research, well-supported by relevant legislation and guidance issued by tax authorities
  • Support managers with the management of portfolios and communications with clients
  • Undertake basic tax advisory work for trusts and high net worth individuals and support tax managers with complex advisory work
  • Review and support tax associates and tax assistants with day-to-day tax compliance
  • Responsible for all aspects of tax compliance on a portfolio of clients
  • Prepare CGT computations and disclosures
